Astrid napísal:And I think I have seen the 180 l somewhere before- may be at AquaBotanic?
I especcially like the picture from 13.05.2004- its got a really nice layout.
On the other picture (27.07.2004) it is a little crowded and I dont like the placement of that orange plant right in the middle- it may be some kind of rotala?
In the 25 l tank I love the moss and of course the wood- they are great!
So again- we are glad to have you here and hope that the small language barrier wont be a problem
could you please tell us more about the equipment (filtering, co2, lights) and the maintenance (waterchanges, ferts, water parameters...)?
oh yes, the 180l...the former layout looks good, but i think it was not possible to keep it in the longrun? but why did you replace all the plants? and what happened to the hydrocotyle?
azet napísal: did you use the white sand only or combined it with some another substrate?
Duch napísal:Sorry for my english...I hope you understand me. I dont speak Czech?
Duch napísal:Yes this is Rotala rotundifolia...but i made a lot changes from that time and i removed from tank:r.indica, r.rotundifolia, c.wendtii, heteranthera and eleocharis. I put in some new stuff like: r.wallichii, erect moss, ammania and h.polysperma rosenarvig.

Yes, yes....but i have bad news. There was some big problem with ph, fertilizer ....and algae . This tank cost too much time and work so i haven't time to play with it. Maybe i put there some amano shrimp with eggs
Duch napísal:Thanks. Hehe...IMO i understand you but my english grammar is terrible....so don't laughing
Duch napísal:Hydrocotyle verticillata grown on wood in java moss
Astrid napísal: Slovak You dont speak Slovak (and may be also Czech, but this is slovak site) - ok, doesnt mind
Dont you have some recent pictures of the tank- after this replacement of plants?
Hmm Ive read that you use some fertilizer for garden plants- could not be this be the source of your problems? I thought that it is not good for water plants- they have different demands on NO3, PO4 and so... - you have to add them in soil for garden plants, but in aquarium they are produced by fish.
)) Thats very nice. I didnt know that it is possible to grow it on a wood
canart napísal:I see you do the water change in the 25 l tank quite often. Is it needed? ....or what is the reason?...the wood?
As mentioned above the older picture of 180 l tank looks better
azet napísal: duch (incognito? ),
Duch napísal:astrid.akva.sk
You have a very nice tank there Astrid:D .
Duch napísal:I love didiplis diandra group but i don't like limnophila(?) in center backgroud.
Duch napísal:BTW: there is any other slovak aquabotanic forum (only akva.sk?)?
Astrid napísal:You dont like its position in the layout or the plant itself? (otherwise it is limnophila sessiflora)
If you mean some forum related to aquariums, then, yes. There is one older forum: www.akvarium.sk and one new www.akvaria.sk . On the czech board there are many other such as www.akvarium.cz, www.akvarista.cz and many other
There is some species i dont like at all (all echinodorus, bacopa, cabomba, limnophilia, lotos) but this is only my opinion . I love hemianthus and all moss species
Bob napísal:When I saw the photos of these tanks for a moment I thought that it's Amano's job, especially the bigger one.
Ig napísal:I like very much your tank from date 27.07.04. Nice layout.
How old is this tank (when you set up this one) ???

Why??? I'd like to know your opinion.
rotwik napísal:You're spoke beginer??? Dont by modest!!! Mate so once so...
